The Factory Kitchen

All about our re-launch

Our brand new cafe has been more than six months in the making and we’re thrilled to be re-launching with our stylish new look this February! Here’s a sneak peek at the new cafe and what you can expect…

If you’ve been to The Factory Kitchen in the past six months or so, you couldn’t help but notice the building work that’s been going on behind the scenes. We even relocated our seating area into the The Biscuit Factory gallery, where our visitors could enjoy a cuppa surrounded by beautiful pieces of art.

As the revamp nears completion, we thought we would give you some insight into the all-new Factory Kitchen and what we have planned for 2016.

A new look

From the decor and sleek white counters to our new brand identity and menus – we’ve refreshed and revamped our cafe from top to toe. We hope that our stylish and contemporary new look, with artwork and creative flourishes dotted throughout, will complement our location within the UK’s largest art, craft and design gallery.

Spacious and bright

The Factory Kitchen is bigger than ever before. This means more space for diners, drinkers and afternoon tea-goers!

New connections

Our cafe now links the main gallery with The Biscuit Factory’s purpose-built events space, The Biscuit Room. This means that corporate parties and weddings can enjoy a seamless journey from one events space to the other, as opposed to braving the elements outside and walking between buildings.

Foodie delights

We have new food and drinks menus to tempt your tastebuds… Our Head Chef, Michael Waugh, has spent the past few months carefully crafting our new menus. Looking to continental Europe for inspiration, we’ll be bringing you a host of fresh flavour combinations – think vibrant salads, artisan breads, melt in the mouth cakes and home churned ice-creams.

What’s next?

Alongside our daily specials, we’ll also be introducing a brunch menu at weekends featuring all those firm favourites… Eggs Benedict anyone? And for the tea drinkers among you – we’ll be serving our very own tea-infused cocktails.

Looking ahead to the summer months, visitors will also be able to enjoy panoramic views of the city from our new outdoors terrace.
